Here I Stand
Here I stand in the golden hours
Waves crash and people talk and laugh
The colorful sky and beautiful flowers
As beautiful as this, nothing would even be half

Here I stand with leaves at my feet
Rays of sunlight pass through trees
Bare trees without leaves seem incomplete
Grass grows along the dirt path with a strong breeze

Here I stand above the tall trees
A beautiful view thousands of feet high
The journey was not of one’s ease
For the view and the untouchable sky

Here I stand away from puffs of black smoke
Now and forever I have awoke.
