From Hello to Goodbye

It began with a hello
And formed into so much more
In my life he became the core
As I was beginning to fall in love with this fellow
Each day our relationship grew like so
As he began to open my door
And we could talk endlessly without becoming a bore
And all this began with a simple stranger’s hello

One day the mood became eerie
Causing me to become weary
I was unsure of what was to appear
As I began to drop a tear
It ended with just one phone call
As if we never were anything at all
