The Parade
The parade passes by in an array
Of masked figures gliding by atop the
Mountainous structures in an odd display
 Ominously towering above me

Menacingly they seem to be glaring
With furious eyes I can't comprehend
Are faces unnerved? Are nostrils flaring?
Will things be alright for me in the end?

The objects they throw me do not console
The cankerous thing inside of my mind
Frightening thoughts I can't seem to control
Due to shrieks of terror I won't unwind

I stir awake and nurses rush me soon
Fits of hysteria made me a loon
