Wander
She wanders through an empty field
 A place where every dream is real
 The sky is always bluer here
 And thorn-less roses bloom all year
 Where sorrows fade into the past
 And joy and love are made to last
 Tears have not fallen to its floor
 No broken hearts come through its door
 There are no lies behind a kiss;
 “Goodbye” used only to dismiss
 But in this place of love and hope,
 Without the pain, there is no growth
 And so she wanders endlessly,
 A child, she’ll forever be.
