Withered Away

Withered away but forever here to stay.
Once bright and beautiful.
Now lifeless, all we can do is pray.
Before filled with joy.
For now its fill with Pain.
A child playing with a toy?
To think of such now would be insane.
Long ago crisp air to breathe.
Only masks to wear.
Not somewhere anyone wanted to leave.
This world was given no care.
Laughing voices from all around.
All to listen for is screams.
Many with no frowns.
Lost in all our dreams.
Places to go and enjoy.
Trapped in a hells array.
Who would of thought it be something we'd destroy.
Withered away but forever here to stay.
