Your wings hide
your hideous face
but many love
your colorful place
a meadow of flowers
in many types
or up the brick wall
or down some pipes
your beauty in patterns
laid out on your wings
a tiger, some specks,
like an angel they sing
to our eyes it is
soothing and calm
as we observe
you perch on our palm
your magnificence so much
it could stop a cry
flutter along
you sweet butterfly
