I am sorry to my teachers
And to those who cheered for me on the bleachers

Burning through this path
Using metal, mechanics, and math

But when the world got sick

I was Zain, an adept computer vision programmer on my competitive robotics team.

After COVID hit during my junior year, not long after we came first place in the midwest regional, our season was cut short and our plans for traveling to the world championship were cut off. I lost motivation, and school started to feel like such a drag. Now I am a senior in high school, and although we did have a robotics season, it was a virtual replay of the previous year's game and I didn't really participate. I graduate in a few days and I regret it so much.
