Peace
All around me they soundlessly lie asleep
 But one is delicately whispering
It whispers softer as I get closer
But I cannot find anything around me
They rose and fell in the heat of battle
But still one, only one stands to fight alone
I cannot find anything around me

He calls my name countlessly toward his grave
I run, run towards the sound forgetting,
Forgetting where I am, I see him living
He tells me not to worry he is free
He says he is where soldiers are at peace
As he leaves, tears roll down in my sadness
“Good bye”, I say, “I will see you in peace”

Your grandfather would be so proud of you.
