Dancing in the Rain
Leaving the world behind, we danced in rain.
Your alluring voice pulling me through time,
A spark that can cure the world of its pain;
My heart beats a rhythm that has no rhyme.
Like a phoenix, you help me rise from ash.
My heart beats a feeling that I can’t fight.
Drenched in rainwater, in the shortest flash
I can’t help but fall for you in my sight.
But our winding paths diverge, I can’t stay:
The final thread holding with all my strength
Life has a way of leading us astray,
A thousand miles away, such a far length
I still dance in the rain, just like before
As if someday you’ll come back to my door.
