Just Jimmy
They said I was inadequate, I never thought i'd rise up.
I kept my head down until i brought my eyes up.
I can say i was in a dark place for quite a few years, I kept a straight face with friends but behind closed doors, there were tears.
I then realeased my fears, my deepest darkest inhibitions, growin up without a steady livin' with no food in the kitchen.
At 12 the oldest but just an addition, but me plus three other children only equaled omission.
Then I found my calling, yeah my music spoke to me.
People started adding up on top of my family tree.
At that point I understood, I realized who I wanted to be.
Not a cop, nor a rapper, for once I just wanted to be me.
