It's scary isn't it?
Jumping in.
When it's dark
And you can't see what's in the water.
It's something that keeps you up at night.
Makes you clutch your pillow
Makes you think
"Why should I do this
when I could be home
Safe
In the known?"
It's scary isn't it?
When the break occurs.
A break in the day to day.
A swing in the dark in the swing of things.
A swing in the dark
and your fist hits;
Makes contact with the intruder
In your life,
In your Peace,
In your life.
It's scary isn't it?
Jumping in.
