Tell me the story of efflorescence
How the moon danced with the stars
Everything will bloom in the shadow of
Rays of sunshine as he sighed upon the earth

And how the sun loved the moon so much
He died every night to let her breathe
How the moon stayed in the shadows
Of his greatness just to let him be seen

Love me the way sun loves the moon
He doesn't care for living if she dies along the way
Love me the way the moon loves the sun
There's no night if there's no day

Tell me the story of evanescence
The balance between light and dark
How every dress she wears sways in the wind
How he can't his eyes off of the way she lives

How the sun loved the moon so much
He died every night to let her breathe
How the moon stayed in the shadows
Of his greatness just to let him be seen

Love me the way sun loves the moon
He doesn't care for living if she dies along the way
Love me the way the moon loves the sun
There's no night if there's no day

Love me like a thousand suns
A thousand suns, a thousand suns
With the heat, the passion
Love me like a million moons
A million moons, a million moons
Cool me down after a thousand suns

Tell me the story of how the sun loved the moon so much
He died every night to let her breathe

Love me the way sun loves the moon
He doesn't care for living if she dies along the way
Love me the way the moon loves the sun
There's no night if there's no day
Love me the way sun loves the moon
He doesn't care for living if she dies along the way
Love me the way the moon loves the sun
There's no night if there's no day

Tell me the story of how the sun loved the moon so much
He died every night to let her breathe

Hi! Your poem was fantastic. In fact, I added a tune to it. If you're wondering what it sounds like, contact me :)

@bubblee96 I'm a big fan of the all these Sun/moon stories. I really enjoy what you did on this piece. I was wondering if you'd like to talk about letting me actually turn this into a real song.
