A Salute to Houston

Shining bright, a new star in the sky,
The world haults as some try to deny,
A singing angel has forever gone away,
Yes, Whitney Houston has left us today.
A daughter lost her mom,
A mother lost her song.
A family forever changed,
A world now rearranged.
Her undeniable talent was abruptly ended,
All because a “fun time” was presented.
Aretha tries to pay your family her respect,
Helping with the emotional effect.
Many fans are wondering, so,
“Where do Broken Hearts Go?”
As many try to understand,
You lose or gain a couple fans.
But remembering your famous tune,
“[They] will Always Love YOU.”
