The Trader
She traded her Cinderella shoes at the disco
Thought she would fit to be a psycho
 As always, ignorance fails her
Little girls need to be told that the world is bitter
She danced and screamed and did things classless women would do
Choosing all the blind attempts to feel alive over what she already knew
It's tempting to do something out of the ordinary
They all understand, all the burdens you have to carry
I told her to choose between morals and living
Advice from a friend is sometimes unforgiving
She bit off more than she can chew
Who knows how hard she'll trip and fall in her traded shoes
Little girls should be told that the world is bitter
Especially the ones who are less likely to be traders.
