Those Were the Days
I remember not standing so high
When I was my mom’s little boy
Dreaming past the deep blue sky
As I enjoyed my superman toy

 We were all so innocent
 Having big secret crushes
 At a time so significant
 Full of smiles and blushes

Me and my friends in the sun
Back then I knew of no sin
 Running around having fun
When it hurt to not win
 Eating pizza when done
Night time we’d cool of in
 Life had really just begun
I wish I could do it again
