I don’t know how, to say that I’m sorry
It’s been almost four whole months and I still can’t say that everything is okay
The more I look back on it, the more I can’t forgive myself for what I’ve did, to you
“Yes! I f***ed him over, but enough is enough! Who’s heart is breaking now, it seems”
selfishly I scream
And I left you messages and cried into the phone
saying I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry over and over again
And I could say I’m sorry a thousand more times, but you don’t want an apology
All you want, is to rewind time, and have me not leave

Maybe we would be the best couple
We would be like best friends, but passionate lovers as well
And you would tell all your friends, “She’s the one for me”
and they would agree
And I would tell all my friends the exact same thing
And every weekend we would be together
And we would talk on the phone for hours and hours
And we would dress up for Halloween
I would go to your house for Christmas Eve
And we would kiss as the new year began
And our birthdays celebrated together
All the while both thinking, could I be this happy forever?
Could you be my forever?

And I left you messages and cried into the phone
saying I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry over and over again
And I could say I’m sorry a thousand more times, but you don’t want an apology
All you want, is to rewind time, and have me not leave

I can’t forgive myself until you forgive me
I can’t forgive myself until you forgive me
I’m too afraid to pick up the phone, and have you say, I don’t love you anymore
I don’t wanna hear you say, I don’t love you anymore

All you want, is to rewind time, and have me not leave
All I want, is to rewind time, and have you fall in love with me
All I want, is to rewind time, and have you fall in love with me
