"Memory's Scar"
My heart is dark and winding
 Someone turn on the light
Since the day you left me
It has been as black as night
Or maybe it was always like this
Maybe that’s why you didn’t want to stay
Can’t you see I’ve been changin’?
But it’s hard when I know I face each day

 *CHORUS:*
 Living with memory’s scar
But I really can’t do anything
How you’re so close and yet so far
 It truly is quite maddening
And I know what’s done is done
 But why can’t you see?
 That you’re the only one
 Who can fill my empty
 Heart

Why can’t you remember the good times?
The dance, the bus, the beach
 Kimbro’s and those Friday nights
Now you’re just right out of reach
You used to have feelings for me
But I guess they shriveled up and died.
 Well I guess whatever happens
 You can’t say I hadn’t tried.

 *CHORUS:*
 Living with memory’s scar
But I really can’t do anything
How you’re so close and yet so far
 It truly is quite maddening
And I know what’s done is done
 But why can’t you see?
 That you’re the only one
 Who can fill my empty
 Heart
