It's you
After it was all said and done
 I did something’s I never should’ve done
I was trying to cover my pain
By turning it all into a game

Since then all the I’s have been dotted and the T’s have been crossed,
I’m trying to get back the life that I have lost
Everything seems to falling in place
But there’s just one thing I can’t replace

It’s you, it’s the way you cared,
It’s the way you held me when I was scared,
The smile on your face, the way I felt in your embrace,
That look in your eyes that made me like I could fly
 That’s what I can’t replace
Those are the memories my heart won’t erase

 Trust me I have tried
 To push those thoughts aside
But the good times replay in my head
I soon remember ever word you said
And for that my heart does pay
For every time I’m left feeling this way

Sometimes I wish I go back to the past
And fix all the decisions I made to fast
I’d give things a chance to work themselves out
Then maybe I wouldn’t be missing the one thing I live without

It’s you, it’s the way you cared,
It’s the way you held me when I was scared,
The smile on your face, the way I felt in your embrace,
That look in your eyes that made me like I could fly.
 That’s what I miss
That’s what I think about when I reminisce,
 It’s you.
