When tried with death
One man spoke louder than before

Trusting in a promise
One man saw not death

Being warned of that which we thought foolish
One man saved the human race

When asked a heartless task
One man was given a new life

Thought as a whore
One woman betrayed her nation to serve another's God

For faith is the evidence
Of things unseen
Believing on Him
As we believe in air

These men and these women died in faith
Not receiving that which they had expected
But that of an abundance more
Not seeking the grandest treasure
But receiving a Heavenly sort

By faith
Having no sin on His record
One Man suffered affliction
And defeated the tomb
