I'm scared of the monsters that creep under my bed
I'm scared of the thoughts that run through my head
I'm scared of losing the things I hold dear
I'm scared my life will be controlled by my fears
I'm scared of change and all things new
I'm scared of losing all things you
I'm scared my future holds no meaning
I'm scared of what society will next call demeaning
I'm scared of where our world is headed
I'm scared our future has already ended
I'm scared that we are living in the past
I'm scared of how long this period of tragedy might last
