Frankenstein
The greatest monster
Of all time
For he really isn't
All that monstrous
Yet we are warned
To be cautious
Around him
And when we see him
Because all he does
Is lead to grim
And grisly acts of violence
But he's just a man
Living in silence
Because he doesn't look
like you or me
But that doesn't mean
He can't be free
But we, as people, fear the unknown
We crave to go home
To the home that we know
And if there were to be
Someone different or unusual
We, as a population, would agree
And give our utter refusal
To let said monster into society
But then we have the audacity
To call ourselves almighty
But we judge and we hate and we creep and we kill
For we may not look like monsters
But we have a hole to fill
Within our minds
Within our souls
We hate to love
Because we hate to feel whole
Monsters are just people who love
Far more than the rest of us
And we are not used to these emotions
So we greet monsters with violent commotion
