My Last Day
February 21, 2011
My feelings as a child,
Are slowly drifting away.
And by the time this gets better,
There's no way I can stay.
Your hold on me tightens,
And my fears all disappear.
And with everything I've been through,
How could I stay here?
You think nothing of the cruelty,
You know not of my demise.
Don't you know I'm breaking?
Can't you see it in my eyes?
And when you finally realize,
I wasn't planning to stay.
It's already to late.
This was my last day.
