the bully

tears dropped across my face
why am i in this case?
leave me alone i beg of you
why do u tease me?
what am i supposed to do?
cant you see?
that youre just like me
i hurt at pain
im just as sane
if i feel sad wouldnt i cry?
if im anoyyed dont i sigh?
so please tell no lie
in saying im different
as i make this statement
i want you to understand
that i need a dreamland
when your names reach my ear
all i feel is fear
i am who i am
so dont put me down
just because im not the class clown
your names hurt
im not dirt
so why treat me like it
next time you want to call me a name
think of the people who had self shame
and now arent around
but now the things they surround
is the graveyard
and now god is their guard
as hells angels will sing
and the victims will no longer feel the sting
people like u drove them to it
so admit its you whos the misfit
they are no longer around to hear the taunts
now youll be the one they will haunt
its not to late to right your wrongs
so it prolongs
that noone else
will take their life from bullying

Insult my clothes, I say, “Okay, thanks for the compliment.”
Insult the way I look, I say, “Thanks for notifying me.”
Mock me and say riding isn’t a sport, and I’ll say,”You say that ’cause you can’t ride.” But before you make fun of my horse, make sure you have “911″ on your speed dial.

Great Poem!!  I wish I had something like this a few years ago when I had this happen. Keep Writing!! :)

This poem was intense. It is true that many people take their own lives because of the hurtful things bullies do to them, and it is a shame that someone would be treated that way. When you say "Can't you see? That you're just like me," I see how hurt you are by the things the bullies do, and that it is obvious that you do not deserve to be treated so wrongly. Also, when you say "I'm not dirt, so why do you treat me like it?" I see it as saying "I am a human being, so treat me like one." You did an incredible job. This piece was very deep.
