Lettuce Heist

In my garden, the lettuce did grow,
But, it wasn’t picked up fast, you know.
The squirrels came by.
And ate it all dry.
Now there is none left for us, oh no!

I love squirrels, fun idea 😅🥬
This piece was inspired by a mishap with my own lettuce garden in the backyard. It gets raided frequently by squirrels, so I thought it would be funny to write about it.
