Lake Havasu
It is time to leave
 The day is finally here
 My trip begins now.

 For some it seems dumb
 To drive five hours away
 Just to ride a boat.

 But to me it's more.
 Lake Havasu is my life,
 It's my happy place.

 Each day we get up
To go at the crack of dawn
 Out on the water.

 The essentials are:
 Swimsuit, towel, water, food.
 Then we're on our way.

 The engine starts up
 Grumbling and spraying water
 Itching to get out.

 The boat is pushed off,
We grab the tubes and wakeboard,
 Then the fight begins.

 Each wants to go first,
But it's up to the fastest
 To jump in the lake.

 When I'm on the tube,
 The competition is real.
 I will not fall off.

 My brothers try hard,
To push me off of my tube,
 But I try harder.

 When that is over,
It is time to use the board,
 The awesome wakeboard.

 Jumping over wakes
Is one of the best feelings
 You will find today.

 But it all must end.
Before long, the waves are rough.
 We must head back in.

 Though it's still morning,
We have done more than enough
 For normal people.

 But we're not normal.
We do more throughout the day
 Until we are sore.

 The end of the week
Comes much too quickly for me.
 I must say goodbye.

 I must say goodbye
 To the great Lake Havasu
 'Til we meet again.

 More years still to come.
This is not a real goodbye,
 But pausing the fun.
