Your parents told you
“We will always accept you”
Then why feel guilty?
It’s your subconscious
Pulling you to your best friend
Always wanting more
It’s your subconscious
Ringing alarm bells each time
You look longingly
You, her: it seems wrong
But somewhere it feels so right
All a tangled web
She says “I love you”
She holds your hand, gives you hugs
But she’s dating him.

Great! i love haikus; they're so fun to write and it's amazing what one can capture in such a limited amout of words. You really achieved this! keep up the good work!
