High School
Mean girls cower the halls
Am I good enough?
They act like the predators of high school,
much like a lion,
while I am a lonely little mouse trying to hide in an open field.
Lunch is a jungle
Different tables with different species
Cliques are formed and remain generally the same until graduation
Segregated into the popular students and the geeks
Yet classrooms like jail cells
Having to ask permission for every little thing
Take tests with caution as you approach the end of the year
Finally, summer!
Make sure they know you’re having fun
If you don’t post about it they consider you a loser
It’s hard to take that back
Once you’re named you can’t change it
So watch your back!
