Sleep Paralysis
I lay awake staring at the ceiling above my bed
I know the stone floor is chilling to the bone with a single step
I can hear the wind pushing my window shutters against the walls
I can feel the eyes on me
The eyes that are hidden in the dark corners of my room
I can feel them staring at me
So hungerly
Just waiting to devour my soul
I can't do anything in my vulnerable state
Just try to move
Try to sit up
Try to scream
Just try anything
Anything will help against them but i can't do a thing
Only watch them slowly come out of hiding
Slowly watch as my death approaches

This was an assignment for class that i was very pleased with and i hope it shows how much i truly love to write. I do also enjoy writing very sullen and mysterious pieces which explains the remake of The tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe i have and my creepy poems. Since i was raised watching horror and hearing scary things i always have something strange in my stories or poems and i love it, i hope you enjoy reading my story!
