Baseball
I walk up to the plate gazing at the crowd,
Bottom of the ninth two outs and its my turn,
I step in the box and listen to everyone getting loud,
Strike one goes by and the pitcher was for sure,
The next pitch was mine it had to be,
Next thing I knew it was strike two,
For the last time I looked around and felt free,
I stepped in and watched his curveball which flew out of view,
the ball curved at such a angle it squared my bat and never came back.
