Protection from a Broken Mess
In my hand I wield a sword and shield
Used to protect me from the bad memories
The sights a human shouldn't be exposed to
Cutting away what tries to break me
Blocking myself from the mess of reality
The things that damage the eye to stare into
For the eye is just a vent leading to the soul
A soul that should never be broken
