Those Moments
The art of never letting go
It’s a way to hold on
treasure moments
In which you want to stay in
And not let go
It’s like an art or skill
that very few possess
It’s the art of never letting go
In some ways it can be useful to have this skill
Finishing a book that will never have a sequel
Watching a movie that you never want to end
Being in a moment you want to be in forever
It’s those moments that you want to hold on to
But there are some that you want to forget
and those moments go on and on
All the times you put on a happy face
All the times you shut out your feelings
All the times you felt something and maybe it was just too much
Those moments play in your head like a video on a continuous loop
Until you try to stop them.
You try, and it can work
If you really see that you don’t need to feel stressed,
Or worried, and that everything will be ok
You will be ok.
But even if you know that
It is hard
When it feels like the whole world is crashing down on you.
Even if it isn’t.
