Stars Within
We will never forget
The maroon walls filled with excitement
Yet bittersweet with ceasing emotions
Whoever saunters through the maroon walls
Saunters through a load of memories and fantasies
Of the years before and the sun yet to come
Dreams fill the maroon walls
Dreams of futures being proficuous
But all of our dreams are the same
Aren’t they
Dreams of a maroon day
Dreams of our fantasies full
Of fantasies
The sun will rise again
For another tomorrow
Like people expect of it
Then we too will rise again
Through and through
For another tomorrow
For another four years
For another lifetime
Away from the last
Fourth year
For this is of course
The day we’ve been waiting for
We may leave these maroon days
Yet we will still remain
We may forget our dreams
Yet we still remain
We may start anew
Yet our names will be lost to teachers and students who come
Yet we are made to shine
Like stars within
