Dress Code
They do not understand that the dress code they inforce
Is not only sexist
But sexulizes girls
Makes them into nothing more than sexual objects
And mark boys up to nothing more than sexual animals
Girls should be allowed to dress how they want
And be confident
Without having to worry
About that they might be a distraction
To boy’s school work
Because as long as everyone wearing a shirt and some type of bottoms
I really don’t see the problem
Better cover up they say
Because I’m sorry Miss
But mhm
That shoulder is just to sexual for anyone to god damn handle sitting next to apparently
If that boy can’t keep his eyes on the teacher in class
Because of what some girl is wearing than
That’s darwin’s law, the natural selection of high school
And he can fail out of high school
For all I care if he can’t bother to concentrate on learning
That’s his problem
Not the girl’s
Not her wardrobe
Not her body
Not her problem
The dress code and thus the deans also makes the assumption
That a girl could never be distracted by what a guy is wearing
Because if you have “M” on your gender marker
On the school records than
You can wear whatever whatever the f*** you want
Or a guy be distracted by what another guy is wearing
Or a girl be a distracted by what another girl is wearing
It just heteronormative
