King of the Dirt
My Family of Friends,
I've a story to tell.
If you listen, Both ends,
It might end just swell.
But that's for you to decide,
For when my job's done,
And my Battle is won,
Will the message be undone?
Your ears will not hear,
Your eyes will not see,
Your hear will not know.
It may not be clear,
It may not be free.
For what I bestow
Is the message of Pride.
It may not seem Evil,
It may not seem Good.
But beware the upheaval
Of Pride misunderstood.
The Provider of Anger,
The Seeker of Hurt.
Pride has his ways,
King of the Dirt.
He bekons us to him,
He welcomes us in.
But wait, that's not right,
He's under our skin.
Yes, it is true,
It is us who pursue
His sad kingdom,
Resist though we might.
Inside you will find
The unhappiest lot.
Pride led them in,
And left them to rot.
O Beware this Great Snake,
From his trance may you wake.
Pride will not help you,
Not one little bit.
Instead he will curse you,
Throw you into the pit.
Inside you will stay,
To eternally pay,
Forever unclean,
In the Kingdom of Mean.
O Beware and avert,
The King of the Dirt.
