Your words hurt
Shriveling my confidence
What you thought was joke
Was really an act of malice
Not knowing the repercussions that would follow
Leaving me empty and oh so hollow
Things took a turn for the worst
And all my feelings ebbed away
Unsure if I’d make it another day
No one reached out to help
No one seemed to care
So I took my life into my own hands
Something I thought I would not dare
