The Ocean

Life is like the ocean
And we are the surfers
One minute we could be on top of it all, riding our way to a happy life
The next minute we’re drowning in our sins
Wondering how a simple, miniscule wave splashed over us so quickly
No one can master life, just as no one can master the ocean
Wiping out is as unexpected as a tragedy in life
So calm and yet, so chaotic
It is up to us to make these waves count
