Regretful Thinking
You Leaving me for a second,
tortures my mind,
Playing with the idea,
That you would never come back.
Please,
Give me a chance,
To wipe away your tears,
As they fall like rain.
I promise I’ll try,
To open up my soul,
Enough for you to see me,
As who I am,
A monster,
As long as you promise to stay.
Darling my intentions are clear,
You are my moon,
My darkness leaves with your luminous light,
With your exquisite smile.
All of you saves me,
So I’m sorry,
For spilling the blood of our love,
Just because I won’t let you in.
In fear you’ll drown in my misery,
Then you,
a rose,
My rose,
Would go from white to black,
In spite of my regret.

The fear of hurting people you love causes actions that could hurt someone more, but our mind, our stupid mind, convinces us its best and so that's' what this poem is about. It's about what a person used to convince themselves this is for the best, even if they both hurt tremendously.
