I shall be dust one day
I shall one day be no longer
I shall be dust one day
For from dust I came
And there- I shall soon lay
And who shall pass on the story of the past?
And who shall gather those faded shards of glass?
And though I shall be dust
Once again, part of the land
There are so many witnesses
So many who still stand
Though one day the trees shall burn
Their ashes shall still live
And though one day a star shall be lost
The dark vast sky shall still drift
Though one day the walls shall crumble
Their stones shall still lie
Though one day I shall be dust
I know I shall not die
