Protective cases are the barriers I put up;
making sure to keep what is on the inside safe from harm.

My mood is the cheap case that breaks within a week;
causing me to switch to another fairly quickly.

But my strength is the expensive case that doesn’t give up easily;
thousands of accidental drops on the concrete floor, yet not a scratch is visible.

Sometimes, that screen cracks.
The inside breaks and the case remains unchanged,
but that doesn’t stop it from functioning.
