"Flawless" World
Sometimes when I need to escape,
I close my eyes and see the world from a different perspective.
One without terror, pain, or sadness.
One without poverty, hate, or failure.
Children laugh and play, carefree,
Parents agree on everything without hesitation.
Every student achieves their goals,
Everybody is joyful and content.
There are no terrorist attacks or debates,
There are no obstacles to overcome.
The world is finally free of its issues,
And everyone’s weights have been lifted off of their shoulders.
There is one single flaw I have noticed with my “flawless” world,
There are no mistakes to learn from.
A higher strength cannot be achieved,
as nothing stands in the way to conquer.
