Pace the halls
Green shoes marching,
Thinking of some-her
Long ago or far away trotting.

Prances in another state,
A meadow glowing,
Skipping to a complex song
Her lyrics of another life.

Wear my shoes for her
My jade eyes wandering,
Scheming to be in her field,
A culture to be enjoying.

Fulfills her life
On stage, chalkboard, street strutting,
Strolling with the best and better,
Her green light never halting.

Adorn my head with seaweed
Crown of grey sinking,
Looking to my feet I see
The same green shoes pacing.

Dances, her hair in the wind,
Colors and love around floating,
Looking to her feet I-
Is she wearing green shoes for me?
