do you still feel worthy of love
i remember watching everything you called home fall apart,
slip from your fingertips
because you thought it was okay to let loose for a bit.
do you still feel worthy of love?
can you see it now?
how the people you are supposed to care for,
are tearing themselves apart.
and how the people you stand by,
are tearing others apart.
you were not the only one.
i know it had to of hurt.
when the bullet went through his head,
everyone knew,
that there was more pieces to pick up,
other than the blood on the ground.
i know that you have pain.
because he left it for you to pick up.
but when and where,
did you decide that it was okay,
to just say you’re done
and give up.
why was it so easy for you not to care?
for you to run away from the person i once knew,
to obliterate everything in your path,
because making a catastrophe,
was easier than cleaning it all up.
where did the old you go?

i once knew a boy who believed in the world,
but then he decided that you can’t believe in things that hurt you.
