I Am Beautiful
As a girl sits on her
she asks herself
"How did I get here?"
how is it that my two best friends were fake
she always asks herself
"Why doesn't any boy like me?"
Is it because I'm not pretty enough?
Is it that I'm not skinny enough?
Or that I'm not popular enough?
As time passes she also think to herself
What If...
What if I change the clothes I wear?
What if I lose weight?
What if I magically become more beautiful?
Would everyone like me then?
As the next morning approaches
The girl wakes up and thinks to herself
I don't...
I don't need to change the clothes I wear
I don't need to magically become more beautiful
just so people would accept me
because I am who I am
I am Beautiful.

I wrote this poem to show girls that they don't need to change just so that a boy would notice them or so people would finally execpt them.No matter what they think they are beautiful in their own why.
