Shadow
Creeping across the meadow stones
Bountiful nightshade greets the lily pond
Translucent butterflies startled from a fish’s wake
Adumbrating an anxious toad
Startled by a doe approaching the pond for a drink
A a silhouette under the moon’s waning crescent
A silent harmony
The forest waits
