Lost
What happened to the years of fun,
That guided me to you.
What happened to years of life,
The ran away from me.
What happened to the glory days,
As you held me in your arms.
What happened to the time of fun,
With you by my side.
What happened to the days of life,
That you took care of me.
What happened to the life we led,
Walking hand in hand.
What happened to my favorite time,
The time we spent together.
What happened in our life together?
Why’d you leave so soon.
You told me you would love me,
Until the day you died.
I guess today,
Is that day,
The day you could no longer love me.
Her Wings O’ Gray
The shine on which the world relies,
Is cast away by shadows broad,
They bring with them,
A world o’ water,
That they leave with us,
As the day soon furthers.
Although She brings a life of gray,
It doesn’t end in this dull way,
The gray skies bring a wave of joy,
To living things that will thrive free.
We take for granted,
Her life’s true goal,
Which is to help us,
Live and grow.
As she throws,
Her wings above,
To cast a shadow,
To and from.
The smell of her,
Acts as a warning,
To those whom love,
Her beautiful tears.
Those tears of which are not of sadness,
But of which are her holy madness.

This only shows two of the few pieces I wrote. I chose these pieces because I felt they were my best. I've always loved to write about nature and the true mysteries it holds. We never truely know how the world can change us. The first poem is one of change, losing someone loved. Which is one of my biggest fears. nd the other tells of something that I love to experience and how it makes me feel.
