The Lake of My Mind
  I sit quietly in my
  Boat, in a large
Lake, wrapped in my memories and
Dreams, I can’t even see the shore in the
  Distance
All is calm, not a single
  Disturbance
The water hardly making a noise as it
Hits the side of the raft
I cast out the line in to
  The vest water
I watch it fall deep into
Water, wondering if it's hitting the
Bottom, or even if there is a end to it
Sometimes I catch a thought, other times I reel in
  The line and there’s
  Nothing
  Depending on the day,
Sometimes I keep on throwing out the line, hoping to catch a idea, yet
  The line keeps returning
  With nothing-except the worm
