Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” ― Catherine of Siena

It surrounds me.

It chokes me.

My head is splitting.

I guess its fitting.

The Cloud Surrounds.

Darkness is looming.

The flowers no longer blooming.

My hands are cold.

I'm ready to fold.

The Cloud Surrounds.

You're gone from my side.

I will no longer hear your stride.

In Heaven, you are glad.

Yet, why am I so sad.

The Cloud Surrounds.

The cloud is growing,

As each day is blowing.

Eventually, the sun will shine,

and I will be fine.

The Cloud Surrounds.

Until the Sun is Found...

This is a poem I wrote after the death of my uncle in the car ride after the hospital, its how the sadness left by the loss feels like a heavy cloud surrounding me, but eventually, it will get better, and the sun will shine again.
