You are my true love.
When we’re apart, you are all that I think about,
And when I’m with you, all my worries vanish.
I grab you unconsciously, just to have you grasp back,
Almost as if you and I are one.
I go through so much stress, and you tear it away,
You reach me emotionally, as if you were in my veins.
But our relationship is toxic,
I’m too young to be buried in a grave,
That someone conveniently engraved,
A young boy born free,
That died as a slave.
You are my devil and my angle,
That lie on my shoulders.
On the left side, you tell me to go in for another kiss,
But on the right, you ask me if I believe it’s worth it.
Then I arrive home,
To see my own dad fight with my mom,
And suddenly,
The angel on my shoulder disappears.
I am your slave,
I come when you command.
If I take too long to visit you, you become impatient,
To the point that you bother me so much I feel sick.
So I come crawling to you,
Upholding the contract that was signed when we first met.
And for a brief few seconds, you are again my true love,
But as the time that we spend together begins to exceed your limits,
You walk away with the wind.
And as you leave for this final time, I collapse,
Only to wake up in the hospital with a doctor by my side,
At a loss of words explaining to me,
why my lungs have turned black.

Vaping is everywhere.  It is a constant struggle between what you want to do and yet, what you know you shouldn't do.
