Life Sucks. But There's Always a Bright Side

The virus and relentlessness that fills your body

Choose a direction and a destination in life

After years of struggle

A journey is like marriage

You think you can control it

The grieving sky

Turned the little water to a dangerous metal

How would it fell if you were

Brushed quickly away like dirt under a rug

We do not take a trip

A trip takes us

Wanted to go into my turtle shell but

I am too old for sport killing

His words wrestled

He said I'll wash the dishes

He said I'll care for you

Life is like a block and a tackle

I try to keep the line open

For things

I try to care for her

I try to reason with him

I walked up the path with certainty

That I was being watched from the curtains

I try to sleep

The night sky comes to an end

My life

Is now complete
