Lost Poems-Defective Product
I feel impure, I feel unclean
'Cause I'm not as once was seen
Feel rotten, like a defect
'Cause I'm not what they expect
Once I was soft and warm and nice
But now I wear this smile in disguise
To hide the sorrow inside of me
Who am I to be
I've lost the friends I used to have
And distanced the ones I liked instead
I miss the light I used to possess
I hope it's all for the best
If life has taught me something this year
Is that everything that you hate and hold dear
Will one day disappear
